The photographer was able to capture a very intimate moment with this man. We often forget that we are all human and we have all made mistakes but those mistakes do not define us. You overlook any action the man is doing because his eyes are so captivating. The emotion in his eyes tells a deeper story than his circumstance. The clarity of his eyes reminds you that even though your skin will age, your soul will forever hold your place in this life. Homelessness does not define this man, to me he is a son, a father, an uncle, a brother. The detail in his skin and eyes reminds you he is not a "homeless man," he is a soul who loves and feels just like we all do.
