This photograph was taken at the Great Wall of China, one of the most amazing historical sites on the planet. Tens of millions of people built the wall over a period of more than 2,000 years, to prevent enemy attack.
When I first time saw this image, I thought I’m standing on the top of the world, because I never been there before. I felt the warmth of the sun, the morning breeze and I imagined the battle, bloodshed and lost families of thousands of years past. I am awed by the power of photography and this simple image.
