I chose this photo because I liked how the tilted street makes it look like the kids are trying to run uphill while the world is tipping over. I love the use of one directional motion and the use of repeated visual elements in the design of the children's shoes and in the way their legs are positioned during their run. Its also of note to recognize the photos of people in the windows of the house on the right, making it seem like these adults are watching them. It's the perfect photo that combines photojournalism and the use of the critical moment.
